Obtained from processing quinoa seeds, a herbaceous plant originally from South America, Nutrifree Farina di Quinoa flour has a high nutritional value, with a protein content higher than that of millet, rice or wheat and a high biological value since it contains lysine, an amino acid lacking in cereals.
Rich in vitamin B2, folic acid and iron, quinoa flour helps protect the circulatory system and contains carbohydrates with low glycemic index.
Tips: We recommend using the product in small quantities together with other, more traditional flours to enrich the flavour of dough in sweet and savoury recipes: biscuits, crackers, bread, breadsticks and cakes.
